ALEX 1450 — Marine Stack Emissions & Ambient Air Quality Monitoring

We executed a full air-quality compliance campaign aboard the PMS vessel “Mayo” (ALEX 1450) at Abu Qir Port, covering stack gases (O₂, CO₂, CO, NOₓ, SO₂, THC) and workplace particulates (PM₂.₅, PM₁₀, TSP). Measurements were performed with calibrated instruments (e.g., Ecom J2KN Pro, Casella CEL-712) under an ISO-traceable QA/QC program and with support from an authorized laboratory (NWRC). Results were benchmarked against EEAA Law 4/1994 (as amended), MARPOL Annex VI, World Bank EHS Guidelines (2008), WHO Air Quality Guidelines (2021), and CIMAC ranges. Deliverables included a verified emissions baseline, a compliance matrix, health and environmental interpretation, root-cause analysis, and a phased abatement roadmap (operational tuning, process optimization, and long-term technologies such as SCR/DOC/DPF), alongside calibration records and field documentation.
