Delta Wastewater Treatment Plant Environmental and Social Support (World Bank)

Supporting Egypt’s Sustainable Rural Sanitation Services Program for Results (SRSSP), this ongoing engagement for the Ministry of Housing, Utilities & Urban Communities and the World Bank focuses on comprehensive environmental and social activities. The scope includes development of a sludge disposal plan, engaged in the preparation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) reports, implementation oversight for Environmental & Social Management Plans, and support to Water & Sanitation Companies (WSCs) in environmental register preparation. The project is essential for driving rural sanitation performance in alignment with international environmental and social standards.
