Minya Master Plan - UNDP

Commissioned by UNDP and the WMRA, this project entailed a comprehensive consultation for advancing solid waste management in Minya Governorate (2021–2022). The scope included engagement in revising the Minya SWM Master Plan, preparing current status and key performance indicators, and upgrading waste management processes province-wide. A key output was developing a detailed action plan for solid waste handling, alongside executing awareness campaigns to promote new processing practices. The team also monitored and evaluated the implementation of all actions to ensure sustainable improvement in the governorate’s waste management system.
